Canaries recommendations

Hi mums, I figure it anyone can make a good recommendation, it'll be you lot!

We would like to take our 18mo and 3yo on holiday to the Canaries in early June. Ideally inclusive or something including dinners, which is really child-friendly - there's not a chance of our girls sleeping if we're all just in a single room. We don't want to be stuck just sitting in the dark after their bedroom if we're all in a standard hotel room, so ideally some kind of "living space" too where we can play board games etc.

Any recommendations?? Thank you!

Really depends on your budget but can recommend Las Marismas Hotel in Fuerteventura. They do one and 2 bed apartments but you can go all inclusive. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. Dinners are themed each night on a weekly rota. They also do snacks in the pool bar in the afternoon and ice cream too. There is a mini golf course in the hotel and two beautiful pools. Also a supermarket which is well stocked and not expensive. Music/singers entertainment each night and there is a large bar area with lots of arcade game type things for kids. Also a kids club every day, but we didn't go with kids so can't comment on that really but it looked cute!
The apartments are really spacious so be perfect for games with kids in the evenings and get them of to bed and enjoy a G&T on the balcony!
Look at Trip Advisor and Google maps so you can see the location - see if it will suit you.

Check out TUI Blue in Gran Canaria

Princessa Yaiza, Lanzarote. Lots of family suites with separate rooms.

Have a look at Princess Yaiza in Lanzarote - disclaimer - it’s been quite a few years since I went there. It’s definitely family friendly and the food was brilliant.

Pretty much anywhere in the southern resorts of Gran Canaria fit that criteria. They all seem to be mainly apartment hotels - the Spanish are good at these.
You’ll get a bedroom (or 2) and a living room with a sofa bed and small kitchen area included. Plus a balcony and pool,

Puerto Rica whilst a bit Brits abroad has a fantastic beach (they are yellow sand too). With young kids I would stay at the bottom off the valley for ease of pushing the buggy.

I couldn’t tell you the best for your kids ages but honestly theres no shortage of suitable places . Look on the TUI website and read the reviews for places in the area

Cordial Mogan Valle apartments in Puerto Mogan. Two bedroom apartments in a lovely resort with options to pick different meal options

Two pps have mentioned Princesa Yaiza in Lanzarote. I stayed in the hotel immediately opposite it last week. My balcony looked out on it 🙂
My hotel was nice but that one looked really, really nice!

I’m actually here right now and it’s been fab. We have self catered or had the odd meal out but you can book a catered package if you want. The apartments are really spacious and all have a balcony with more outdoor space.

Cordial Mogan Playa hotel (next to the apartments). We stayed in a 1 bed apartment which was spacious with separate living space and a lovely garden area so we could relax in the sun while our little boy napped. Lovely resort and beach, plenty of lovely restaurants but food was good in the hotel too. Lovely pools and spa, and a shaded playground just outside the hotel (back gate). Lovely grounds, absolutely loved it!
