What are you doing for Easter holidays?

I’m struggling with what to do over Easter. We’ve historically gone away, Uk or Europe and we could afford to (not extravagantly!) but for once i have no idea what to do!
We are a family in our 40s with an 4 almost 5 year old daughter.
So please inspire me, what are you doing for easter holidays?

thank you x

Looking at Turkey as everywhere else is a bit more than I would like to pay!

Similar predicament - want to go somewhere and can afford too but just can’t decide

The last 2 years we’ve picked up super cheap flights to Venice £50 return each. We combined the last trip with visiting Rome & stopping in Florence for the day by breaking up the train journey. We loved Venice, getting lost down the canals, mask workshops, murano glass bracelet workshop (great for kids), hopping on and off the water buses. We stayed on the lido so my DD could also play here late afternoon after exploring

Canaries. I need some sun

We are going to Scotland for a week staying near Nairn. DS and I have always wanted to visit Loch Ness so its a real bucket list thing, just praying it doesn’t pour down every day! Staying on a holiday park with a pool so if it does we have that.

There’s exam prep (yet again!) in our house so that limiting us. DS14 and I are off to Krakow for a few days.

What to do over the Easter long weekend is a topic of debate but we might go to Athens as it’s not Orthodox Easter and so things should be open. If we don’t make it there, we’ll just head down to Dorset for a few days walking and chilling.

Madeira, closest thing to Hawaii nearby 😂.

Kids cooking camp for 2 days, pony club stuff for 2 days, a few days of screens/homework/being bored at home etc, family meal over the actual easter weekend and a long weekend in Norfolk to round it off

We’re going to Valencia for 3 nights with teen/young adult dc. Can’t wait! In-laws also live by the coast in the UK so we’ll no doubt be there for a couple of days.

Long weekend in Belgrade , doing the usual touristy things and then eating the great food .
