Currently have a place in Sallanches booked for first week of September, but I'm worrying about the weather. Am I better going closer to Annecy, or is Sallanches a good in-between?
We like walking, but not huge mountain treks, max. 3.5hrs, not full day hikes. Two adults, will have a car.
