Just wondering if some people can share some ideas of where could be good October half term as being a single parent I feel the responsibility to "get it right" without having someone who can share the decision making.
The dream would be a Safari/Beach multi centre but the reality is that I don't think i could get that for close to £5k (1 adult and 2 kids) but I'd like somewhere warm, little to no rain, warm seas for swimming, sandy beach access, all inclusive with a pool.
An independent agent has suggested Thailand and Bali but all info says that October is one of the wettest months of the year and he's given B&B options as food is cheap but I'd like to have the ease of the kids being able to go and get what they want when they want.
I'd like to go back with some other places to price up but don't know where to suggest? Is Mauritius feasible, Mexico (I've read about rain and seaweed), do I ask what a safari/beach would be to prove that I can't afford it?
