Center Parcs - what to pack?

We’ve just booked Whinfell Forest for next month. Baby will be 8 months old and it’ll be our first family break!

Any top tips on what to book/pack/do would be much appreciated!

We’ve taken our granddaughter as a baby and toddler, with my daughter and son in law. Obviously you’ll be taking all her things with you. Jojo Maman Bebe do really good swim nappies. I’d take some of those. Also a couple of hooded baby swim towels/cover ups. You might want to take a small blender as you’ll be prepping food for her. They do sell Cook ready meals in the shop, including the children’s meals but she might be a bit young for them. There’s a cot and a high chair in the lodges. The shops are quite well stocked, so you should be able to buy anything you’ve forgotten. We haven’t booked anything at that age as they don’t really need it.
You’ll have a lovely time.

A fire stick so you can watch TV in the evenings.

a waterproof phone case to take photos in the pool. You can buy them there but it’ll be much cheaper on Amazon.

I always take a suction cup bird feeder and seed so we can get the wildlife right up to the patio doors, but your baby is probably too young to care at the moment.

Also, I’d get the baby a neoprene swim suit with long arms and legs. The pool is great but a bit chilly for a baby, and the floor of the baby pool is a bit rough on crawling knees.

One more thing. If your accommodation is close to the pool, I’d take a dry robe and crocs, then you can just walk home to shower and dress in comfort. Though possibly the changing rooms at Whinfell are better than at Longleat!

I keep thinking of things. The mugs in the accommodation are tiny, so if you like a big cup of coffee I’d take a decent mug.
