So I need to find a holiday for 3/4 nights early -mid march. Preferably breakfast included, budget about £1000-£1200. Can fly from Midlands or Manchester. Where would you go?

Done loads of city breaks. Seville is my fave.

I think I’d go the other way and embrace something cold, snowy and sunny-glacier express or similar.

Cold snow and stunning I meant to say!

Seville is almost always the correct answer to these threads. However, the weather across a lot of Iberia has been terrible for weeks, so you’d be gambling that the storms will have moved on by March.

We are going to Marrakech in a couple of weeks for less than that budget for 4 days all inclusive.

@Eggybreadwithnuts yes you can get the train from the airport to Fungeroila.

I was in Malaga last March . Twice . The early part of the month was wet but the last week was lovely. We lay out every day, pleasant not scorching though. Seville in the middle part of March was showers and sun, warm when the sun was out but not great otherwise for the 5 days I was there. It’s a bit unpredictable I think but lovely when it is good weather.

Malaga or Marrakech?

Bambooforest · 12/02/2026 08:46

Malaga is a good choice for that time, budget and requirements; or the Algarve
