travel insurance for teenager on holiday with another family

I'm trying to organise travel insurance for my DD who's going on holiday with another family in the Easter holidays. Flights booked and paid for. I understand I need to book a single trip and on forms have said it's for one person (rather than couple/family/group), but the questions around medical info are along lines of 'do you or anyone you're travelling with' / 'in your party' etc have x, y z medical conditions.

Do these questions mean the people I'm insuring (in this case just DD), or do they mean the people she's travelling with? I'm assuming latter?
I can complete health questions on behalf of DD, but obviously have no idea about the family she's travelling with. They are also travelling with a set of grandparents.
Appreciate there's a risk here that one of their medical conditions could prevent my DD from travelling, but surely can't expect them to divulge their entire medical history to me for the purposes of travel insurance?
What's the done thing in these scenarios? We rarely travel abroad so pretty clueless about these things.

How old is she? My mum is taking my 15 year old on holiday and she basically needed to take out a policy for him travelling with her because my policy wouldn’t cover him as I’m not travelling with him and my mum’s annual policy wouldn’t cover him as standard as they don’t live together, and I couldn’t do a single trip for him on his own due to his age (can’t remember if it was under 16 or 18 that was the issue) so the easiest solution was for her to do a group single trip policy for her and him.

I called our provider and our children under 18 yo are covered travelling without us. The youngst went abroad with guides.

Good to know but op presumably doesn’t have a family policy as doesn’t travel abroad

OP I’d call and insurer and ask. It must be possible.

I struggled to get my DC insurance for a similar situation, we went with Coverwise for a specific policy just for them.
