Emirates very family focused hotel

We are looking to take our two young children to the Emirates. We are a family so do not want to be in a hotel with young people/pool parties/beach clubs. Please can anyone recommend a hotel with ample pools and loungers (so no sunbed wars) and things for children to do onsite. Near any kids attractions would be good too and away from traffic. Is this doable?

Which state are you planning to visit

BeachAndSea · 08/02/2026 20:43

we have been to AD before children, ten years ago. We wondered if Dubai is too busy? Would not like RAK as sounds like nothing there.

you need to give a budget! The Tripadvisor forum is excellent. Bit difficult to recommend without some kind of steer

How old are the DC? And what do they enjoy doing?

SENsupportplease · 08/02/2026 23:50

riu Dubai

They are 7 and 9 and like the pool, rather than beach. They would enjoy any attractions for kids. We are looking for a relaxed holiday as much as possible and not a huge hotel like Atlantis.

Rixos on the palm. Great pools and kids club (the 9yo might be getting a bit big for it, but the 7yo will still love it).

Rixos on the palm is brilliant for families and you get free water park tickets for the Atlantis. It’s all inclusive with amazing Al a carte restaurants , lovely wines , cocktails and fizz and excellent service. The Rixos in Abu Dhabi is also amazing , more luxurious than the palm one and a beautiful beach.

Do they have sea that is clean to swim in so at the beautiful beach at Ricos AD or anywhere in Dubai?

@BeachAndSea the sea at Rixos AD is really clear and clean with a beautiful white sand beach. I can’t remember the sea at Rixos the palm

BeachAndSea · 10/02/2026 08:29

Oh it’s on Saadiyat Island in AD! We have been to AD many years ago and went to that beach. It was stunning, natural and you could swim in the sea. Bet it’s so expensive to stay. I will have a look!

Ok definitely can’t afford Rixos but Saadiyat beach is stunning. We need two rooms which is the problem. We’re hoping £6k for a week

Try Riu Dubai I think it ticks your boxes

BeachAndSea · 15/02/2026 21:31

Thank you. Is the Rui Dubai on a real natural beach with sea water people swim in? Sorry if that’s a silly question!

It is a man made beach but has sea water people swim in. Though am guessing it’s irrelevant now?
