Toddler swimwear for beach holiday

Heading to the canaries in two weeks. First sunny holiday with our 2.5 year old DD. Temp will be about 20 with pool heated to about 25 so not hugely warm. We are in the process of potty training DD so she’ll still need a swim nappy. I’m going round in circles trying to decide on swimwear, rash vests, nappies, wetsuits for the pool and beach! Can anyone advise?

No other advice apart from 2 piece sets , rash vest and shorts , it’s very early in season so unsure if shops will have them in yet but I used to buy from John Lewis, Next and supermarkets ,i had some lovely ones .

The all in ones are a PITA to get on and off !

Bikini bottoms or shorts and rash vest. Separates are way easier for getting ready, managing urgent loo trips and nappy changes if required. Rash vest can provide additional sun protection and potentially a bit more warmth too.

Depends on the child but both of mine needed to wear a wetsuit in those temps - a 3mm shortie is a good compromise between added warmth without being too inflexible. TwoBareFeet is a good brand.
