Best time to book cheaper flights to NYC

Hi. We are looking to go to New York mid November. Only really decided a couple of weeks ago and realised I've just missed the BA sale 😫😭
Do they normally have another sale? Just noticed today that they've gone up to almost £500 from £350 😭 Will they drop again?

I've installed Skyscanner.

Thank you in advance.

Who knows?!! Prices are dynamic and demand led. Put in different dates - this alters prices a lot. Try Virgin.

Thanksgiving is the 4th Thursday in November in the States - this year it's the 26th. Prices will be high before and after that date as people travel to their families, kids come from home from uni, etc. It's a very big travel period there.

Apart from the price, see if you can use Newark Airport instead of JFK - the immigration queues and the delays will be a bit less punishing and there's a train in to Penn Station. It's New Jersey but it's about the same time/distance as getting in from JFK and may be a lot less hassle for you. Have fun!

Agree both the comment about dynamic pricing (especially "who knows") and also very much with the comment about looking at the Newark (EWR) option.....

In my experience the flight sales are the best time to buy but keep looking daily and clear cookies - maybe try Norse air, DS flew with them and they were great value London-NY

Thank you everyone. Somebody on a group mentioned that Air Lingus removing their flights to the US might be having a knock on effect 😔

A couple of people have said there is a BA July sale. Is that right?

That's just the Manchester services is it not?

It is,so people will end up traveling to London instead. We live in the Midlands and it is cheaper to go from Heathrow.
