Cala D’Or Hotel Recommendations please

I am looking for a hotel recommendation for Cala D’Or. 2 adults 1 child (7).

Preferably a quieter hotel but with things to do with a child.

I have gone down the holiday rabbit hole and have found a few Inturotel hotels/ apartments which look amazing but mixed reviews.

Has anyone been? Or could you recommend somewhere in the area?

We stay at Cala Ferrera in apartments. Close to beach fabulous view into the bay . My happy place .

It was a few years ago but I’ve been to an inturotel in Cala d’or. It wasn’t the main one, I think it was called something gardens. Nice apartments from what I remember and the pool was good. Easy walk to some decent restaurants.

@tiredlazydoesntmatter ah ok, is it self catering apartments? I’ll have a google at Cala Ferrera.

@Watto1 that’s reassuring, I ended up looking at nearly all of the Inturotels because I liked the apartment set up. I’ve seen both of the Cala azul and gardens along with the Esmeralda or something like that. All look nice I just keep going round in circles.

@FlopsyMopsyCotton We love Marsenses Ferrera Blanca hotel. Decent AI (we usually book AI and use it half the time then eat out the rest of the nights), and nice family entertainment.
2 mins to a lovely little beach which has pedalos etc for hire. 5 mins walk to local bars and restaurants where there is mini golf etc. Further 10 mins walk into the centre of Cala D’Or. There is a land train that runs from Cala Ferrera down to Cala D’Or marina too ☺️
Loads of lovely restaurants etc in the area too if you prefer B&B

We stayed at the Esmerelda Park back in 2018. Really liked it. Beach right there, pools, food was good, there were table tennis tables and pool and stuff, and there were crazy golf and a rather basic but fun place called “happy park” with bouncy castles and stuff just down the road. A few restaurants to mix it up a bit too. Kids were 8 and 10 and it was great for them. We all really liked it! It was a while ago so check if reviews are still good.

We have stayed at Cala Esmeralda and Cala Azul, both good.
