March holiday with 3 & 1 yos

I have a break before starting a new job in the first 3 weeks of March and want to try to go on holiday. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. My initial thought was somewhere like the Canaries for all--inclusive. My husband isn't convinced and is looking at forest trips in Suffolk- which normally I'd love but the idea of a little sun and not cooking any meals for 7 days is such strong motivation to look further afield! We have never done all-inclusive or resort holidays (have always done things on a bit of a shoestring) so think he doesnt know what to expect- help me convince him! Any recommendations of good options? Would probably look at the first 2 weeks of March.

I think one of the best hotels for dc that age is Gran Melia Palacio de Isora in Tenerife. It has a crèche for children under 4, a sensory baby room, bedrooms with two separate sleeping areas and all the baby equipment you could want or need. It has a choice of about 7 or 8 different restaurants so you can eat somewhere different every evening, and it’s also within walking distance of shops and cafes so you don’t feel trapped in the resort.
