I am loooking for a family summer holiday. we love love Majorca but usually go in May half term. We are now going away in July in school hols as daughter has GCSE’s… summer Majorca will be searing hot and we really like temperatures that are 26-30 not above!! We get heat rash!

can u recommend any places that are 30 ish obviously depending on heat waves… We also love the turquoise coves and snorkelling with the little ones.
looking at Portugal but not as turquoise!! and colder sea!!
menorca as weather reports say it can be cooler??
puglia but probs too hot.
crete but too hot ??
sardinia as can be breezy
Corsica and Albania but maybe too hot . Look so magic though.
northern Spain but not as cove / snorkelling like!
i know it depends on heat waves etc.
thanks x

If it's anything like last July, you can expect your desired temperature in the UK.

not really sure what you’re asking
all of the med will be hot. Probably 30+

Algarve feels cooler with the breeze

we had high 20s in Netherlands last summer.
this summer we’re going to Brittany and hoping for similar

How about Madeira? I did this in 2024 when needing to go away in July. It’s a lovely island and it was warm but not too hot in July.

We went to Croatia in July last year - it was around 28-31 most of the time on the Istrian peninsula. It was absolutely perfect for snorkelling and rocky coves, the beaches are amazing for older kids
