Luxury hotel for solo trip

I’m looking to book a few days away by myself at the beginning of June. Ideally Greece but willing to look at other options. No more than 4 hour flight. Ideally 5 stars.
I’m looking for somewhere where I can completely relax and not have to leave the hotel if I don’t want to. Ideally near a beach. Restaurants on site or within less than 15 minutes walk. At least bed and breakfast.
A lot of the hotels I’ve looked at tend to be geared towards honeymooners which I’d like to avoid.

Stayed at the atki imperial on Rhodes, had a different name but same place, was nice and not particularly honeymoony, well not the lovey dovey kind of place, on the bus route into Rhodes town that isn’t far if you are getting a taxi back.

Minos Beach Art Hotel is one of the most relaxing hotels I’ve stayed at.

Thanks. Hotel looks nice but was hoping to avoid buses taxis.

This looks amazing thanks. Room with private garden looks like it could be an option. Is it worth getting half board or are there enough restaurants nearby?

My Mum travelled solo to Greece last year and stayed here

she had an incredible time and couldn’t praise the staff enough. She wanted a day trip around Rhodes and the hotel organised a chauffeur for her. She’s a big foodie and loved the hotel food but there are some other options in walking distance (she really liked the family run fish bar).

Atrium Palace Thalasso Spa Resort & Villas Rhodes, Kalathos, Rhodes

Minos Beach Art is about 15 minutes walk from the town centre where there are plenty of restaurants.

@Forgottenmyphone

Just wanted to jump on the thread to say thank you! I don't often look at hotel recommendations on here, but I did have a nosy at the Minos Art Hotel which looks amazing. We have just booked to go in September. Can't wait.

Check out the Grand Hotel Hyatt in Athens

Forgottenmyphone · 06/02/2026 12:58

@PeriMerry You’ll have a brilliant time and I think the weather should be spot on in September

PeriMerry · 06/02/2026 13:03

@Forgottenmyphone We are lucky enough that it isn't our "main" holiday, but it will definitely be a chance to chill out and not be rushing around sight-seeing.

I will report back afterwards.

Not in Greece, but Hotel Esplendido is lovely in Port de Soller, Majorca. In town so easy access to restaurants, beach across the road, nice heated swimming pool. Not a big hotel though, maybe 70 rooms and not sure if you are after a massive resort? We took our kids so definitely not full of honeymooners.
