Best podcast for long haul flight

I’m about to take my first ever long haul flight, about 13 hours! Can anyone suggest an easy to listen to podcast? I wouldn’t want anything too heavy or taxing.
Thank you

If you like a bit of history (with humour) I really recommend Betwixt the Sheets.

Download from the Desert Island Discs archive, to get a mix of biography and music. Some really fascinating ones.

Shrink the Box (psychology and tv shows)

British Scandal is great. Current and historical "scandals" each series is approx 3.5 hours and ranges from Lord Haw Haw in WWII to the Post Office Horizon debacle.

Red Handed - the shorthand episodes are 30 mins but really interesting. The full case episodes are much longer and potentially too heavy (lots of true crime) but if you have a read through the notes and just download the ones that you like the sound of then you'll be ok.

I love history so listen to all those style podcasts but my current favourite is Screenshot / all about different aspects of TV and Film -such as how summer blockbusters/whodunnits/ disaster/ biopics are all played out on screen -it’s fab!

For the ultimate easy listening I’d suggest ‘Off Menu’
There’s 100’s well known celebrity guests talking you through their ultimate 3 course menu, hosted by Ed Gamble and James Acaster. Even tho I can’t bear JA I like him
on this and think the podcast is mint

Is it to hold your attention or is it to nap to? I prefer an audiobook on a long haul flight - for podcasts i like a history one like the rest is history as they do mini series on topics. I have other podcasts I nap to!

Just to add I find with longer flights i need a mix of everything- you don't know how you will be feeling and it will change throughout the flight depending on how bored/ tired/ restless/ uncomfortable you feel!
I always have a mix of short TV shows and films downloaded- though mainly watch the in-flight. Same with audio - short podcasts, long ones and audio books - ideally i will have started the book already. Last flight I was wasn't in the mood to watch anything and listened to a Harry Potter book for most of the flight as that was the mood I was in.

I agree I couldn’t do just a podcast on a long flight .
however I really enjoyed West Cork and am now enjoying The Walkers about the Salt Path con .
