Marrakech with two kids? Riad recommendations?

Hi all,
I am taking my two girls (6 and 8 yo) to Marrakech for two nights in mid Feb.
I am looking for recommendations on a child friendly riad, pretty central so that it’s within walking distance of the main attractions (souks, main square, museums).
And also, as I’m a bit worried about them getting dodgy tummies, it would be great if anyone has recommendations for tried and tested, safe places to eat.
Thanks!

We stayed in riad Abad, right off the main square
. it’s a lovely place but not sure if it is still called that, it was about 10 years ago, been twice, both rooms fab

Personally I'd recommend a western style hotel.on the outskirts of the city, with activities, grounds and a pool. The city is very busy and overwhelming, and we enjoyed the sanctuary if escaping to a lovely hotel after time sightseeing in the heat. Because most are all inclusive they liberally give out large bottles of mineral water for drinking and brushing teeth etc, minimising the risk of stomach issues. Our DCs much preferred their time at the hotel to traipsing round the city's sights.

I agree with @CoolShoeshine
If you desperately want to stay within the walled city, then pick a riad that isn’t far off the main walkways, as it can be a bit hairy turning off them, down multiple back passageways to get to your riad. Especially after dark. Cafe Arabe is a lovely restaurant , to answer your question. Just by the secret garden.

We spent two nights at Riad Alma Mouassine which was lovely and my three children enjoyed. Then we spent four nights just outside the city in water park hotel, Eden Andalou. It was nice to have the contrast.

Thanks for the recommendations. Will check out cafe Arabe and Riad Alma
