Which Eurocamp???

Hi all
We haven’t done Eurocamp before but considering taking four children on a holiday to one of these:
Bi-village (fazana Croatia)
Zaton (Croatia)
playa montroig (Spain)

we can get reasonably cheap flights to all of these but wondering what people recommend?

I would like a nice beach to swim/dip in. Nice pools for the kids. Seeing something new or learning about history is a nice plus (which drew me to bi village initially with pula and rovinj nearby.

i don’t mind basic accommodation so long as it’s not a shit hole and is clean and comfortable.

thank you x

We went to Playa Montroig and loved it 😊
have also been to Rovinj and thought it was a wonderful place but no idea of campsites sorry.

Wherever you go definitely get a cabin with aircon - there's nothing worse than 40 degrees in a posh tent

We went to Zaton a couple of years ago and loved it. Great pools, lovely beaches, especially the inflatables in the sea, and very safe for the kids.
we walked from the site to the town of Nin a few times which was lovely, and they also offer a shuttle bus to Zadar.

@Strawberrysparkle123 is it easy to go on boat trips to look for dolphins or to visit a neighbouring island? Flights by us to either pula or zadar don’t fit well with accommodation start dates so I’m trying to work out if there is a way to make it work and still have decent accommodation or if we can perhaps do a hotel or Airbnb and Eurocamp combined to make it all work out.

Was also looking at the ferry’s from zadar to an island and then pula but maybe a bit adventurous with four kids

@sterlingiain did you fly into Reus or Barcelona? Have same issues with flights into Reus and then decent accommodation start times so just seeing if we can perhaps do a day or two somewhere else and make it work or we have to drive further to a bigger airport. Trying to use Cardiff or Bristol :)

We didn’t do any boat trips I’m afraid so not sure. We flew to Zagreb, stayed there a few days, then got a FlixBus to Zadar rather than fly direct to Zadar

We used Reus but our friends have flown to Barcelona and it was fine.

@strawberrysparkle123 was the beach sandy (and also the sea floor) in Zaton?
It looks beautiful

It was stunning but the beaches are man made as it is not tidal (which makes it super safe). I think they were a combo of sandy and tiny pebbles from memory. Stunning though

Which Eurocamp???
candycanetime · 24/01/2026 19:12

Domaine les Ormes? Close to St Malo so great beach and water sports.

candycanetime · 24/01/2026 19:13

We didn't fly though as the eurocamp site is only 20 minutes from the ferry port. I have flown into St Malo previously though.

Bella Italia, Parc Albatros are part of a group - I think called Human Travel - with excellent facilities inc great pools and restaurants - highly recommended

Lovelybitofsquirrel · 25/01/2026 18:24

There is a Eurocamp group on Facebook which has loads of reviews of those sites - you’d need to join because it’s a closed group, then use the search function to find them. They are all popular sites.
