Majorca Hotel - Iberostar Albufera Playa - how are the swimming pools?

Hi all,
We are strongly considering Iberostar Albufera Playa for mid July with our 2 and 4 year old boys, but I have read the odd, though not isolated review (s), that the toddler pool or pools in general were freezing beyond use. I understand they may not be heated but how are they, can anyone shed any light on how they find them?
Thanks!

Wouldn’t trip advisor be more useful a platform to find out than here?

Can't speak for that hotel but we went to Mallorca in late June last year and Ibiza at about the same time the year before.

In both cases the adult pools (and the sea) were comfortably warm, at least as warm as UK indoor pools and I don’t think they are heated because that's not generally a thing in the Balearics as there's no need between about June and October, the hotel website or signs didn't mention it either.

I'd therefore expect a toddler pool in July to be warmer as later in the summer and shallower (unless badly positioned in the shade perhaps?).

However, it might feel cold to DC who's only experience of being immersed in water is having a bath so perhaps that's what happened?

I live in Mallorca, and as a rule hotel pools aren't heated, as they don't need to be. In July my pool is normally late 20s so quite toasty, so I don't understand why a hotel pool would be cold.

We stayed here early August last year and the pools were ideal and definitely didn’t need heating as the weather was so hot. Didn’t have to check any pool before we went in. The kids pools are shallow so they got warmer quickly as the day went on too. It was however very busy in those pools during the school summer holidays! But manageable if you know what to expect.

I’m a wimp and swam in an unheated pool in Mallorca in May half term. July will be fine.
