Lighthouse holiday! I’ve Booked it!

A big dream was to stay in a lighthouse. DH and I used lighthouses to tell each other that we loved each other in the early days and our wedding bands are inscribed with 143x

We have booked to stay in a lighthouse for October half term! We will be wet, soggy as will our dogs but can’t wait for a wind holiday whilst we investigate local proper pubs and coast walk!

It sleeps 5 and we have invited the adult / teenager children if they want to come.

I’m ridiculously excited 😜

So jealous, I've always wanted to do that. I have a little Airbnb folder of options. Which did you choose?

Lighthouse wise? One in Norfolk lovely large light keepers cottage. I know the area well - Cromer and I can’t wait. 😜

I’m so jealous! Have wanted to stay in a lighthouse since watching The Life and Loves of a She-Devil in the mid-80s. Have the best time!

A friend her her honeymoon in a lighthouse in Llandudno. I thought she was mad… until I heard all about how monumentally romantic it was to be so isolated and close to a crashing sea. Are you sure you want the DC there?!?

I think our adult children will be too busy with uni and work! My husband is an over 6 ft giant hot water bottle and two huge Labradors = two huge hot water bottles 😜

I am a lighthouse enthusiast!!! We stayed in the lighthouse (cottage attached!!) on Lundy Island for my 50th Birthday - it was a dream come true!! I loved every minute!
