Caribbean Villa vs Thai 5* Hotel

We are looking for a relaxing but independent trip. We dislike mass market tourism and prefer smaller and quieter experiences.

Option A: Private villa with pool and housekeeping a short drive from the beach in Antigua.
Option B: Room in a 5* hotel on the beach in Thailand.

What would you go for? DP prefers Option B but I prefer the privacy of Option A. Although breakfast made for you every day is great.

What time of year?. Weather has a bearing here.

I'd go for an all villa hotel in Thailand like Pimalai. Treehouses or Six Senses. Privacy and the option of a private pool/meals in your room or the hotel facilities.

Depends on the time of year and where in Thailand as the weather is not the same in the whole country.

Does housekeeping also means cooking? And if so, is it planned with you or a fixed meal?

I like the privacy but wouldn't want the logistic to deal with a cook, even for breakfast.
