Has anyone been to Tunisia mid February
AI says the weather is mixed but was wondering if anyone had personal experience of it please?

I went to Tunisia in February several years ago and it was cold enough to have to wear my one cardigan and one coydroy jacket I brought every day. There was one day when I could put shorts and t shirt on and sit by the pool.. I didn’t enjoy the holiday, the food is horrible and being chased by Arabs all the time is not my idea of fun ! The fact that my dh went down with a bug on the plane on the way to the holiday and had to have injections on his bottom, stayed in bed all holiday and he got another bug on the plane on the way home is beside the point. Sorry but I’d never go again, horrid dirty place 🥴

We had two holidays in Tunisia but over 20 years ago. Our money went a long way ie better hotels than usual and we liked the food. We travelled for day trips on our own. However, I think it has changed a lot and is a lot more overtly Muslim. You are probably ok if you plan to just stay in a large hotel or go out on guided tours. We did a great overnight one into the desert,

If you want nice weather you need to go further afield. Our worst holiday was in Tunisia. I don't recommend it. We stayed in Sousse BTW.

I would say maybe avoid going beginning of February ONLY because there have been disastrous storms just a week ago and probably they are still recovering (same goes for Malta, Sicily and Athens).
I have been to Tunis late February and weatherwise it was like all the other Mediterranean countries, just a little bit warmer. In my opinion, it's best to go during Easter and travel to different places (Benzarte, Carthage, Tunis, El Jem, Mehdia, Monastir, Hammamet etc).
The food is absolutely amazing (it can get very spicy though), people are friendly and the beaches are stunning.
So if you were planning on going just for February, I would say skip it (except if you're ok with getting coldish weather). You could alternatively go to the Canaries for example
