Australia resort stop over after Easter

I’m off to rural Australia to see family for 3 weeks with my 4 yr old. Much as I’m looking forward to it, I would also really like a 3 day stop over on the way home in a resort with a kids club so I can have a brief recharge before returning to my very busy job.
Any recommendations?

Whereabouts in Aus are you going? If you’re staying in WA then Bali is probably closest and you’re heading in right direction back to the UK.

Have you already booked flights? Bali is obviously a good option as previous poster mentioned, Phuket is another option, with direct flights from Melbourne, Sydney and Perth, and flight options to Europe for departure. We have also stopped in the Maldives on the way back from Australia, you would probably find more kids club type options there. With the Maldives I booked UK - Singapore and Maldives - UK as an open-jaw ticket and then Singapore - Oz as a return with Scoot and then added on a single leg from Singapore to Maldives. Last summer I also gave serious thoughts to routing through Mauritius, so London - Mauritius - Perth return and then adding a domestic flight with Australia to get to where we were heading, but the Perth - Mauritius flight is not every day, so it can be hard to get timings to work on this route.

Singapore (Sentosa Island) is an easy stop over. Thailand - pretty easy to get get a connecting flight from Bangkok to a beach/island, which is another stop-over destination.

Bangkok- Anantara riverside has a kids club.

Dubai will have hotels with kids clubs too.

I wouldn’t risk Bali belly on your way home!
