Cyprus in April weather ?

Has anyone been to Cyprus in April? We have booked a holiday mid April and have read mixed things about the weather, just wondered what people’s experience is :)

Of course you’ve read mixed things about the weather. No two years are the same, and everybody feels the cold differently. I’m a wuss so wouldn’t even contemplate swimming in the sea in Cyprus in April, and would definitely be looking for a hotel with a heated pool.

I travel to Cyprus every year as I’ve got family and friends living there and April is hit and miss. Personally I wouldn’t go between November and April but I like it to be warm.

Went to Cyprus early May 2024… fab weather, loads of sunbathing. Pool well used (not heated) and many even sea swimming. But as people say the weather might be completely different this year.
We stayed in Paphos area and loved it!

Heated pools are few and far between.

I’ve went in April a couple of years ago & two years in a row. The first time was lovely although jeans & jumper in the evenings. The second time (exactly the same week) it poured it down. Torrential. And was freezing. So pleased I’d taken my puffer! I’ve not been back in April since as it really is hit or miss.
