Best campsites (fixed accommodation though) in France for teens?

I'm losing the will to live trying to find holiday for a week in August in France/Corsica - thought we might try a eurocamp style place (never been) and I find it all so overwhelming. I find ones I think look good and then reviews elsewhere are pretty average/poor.

Any thoughts? Areas where it won't be roasting will be good, too

St Avit Loisirs is good for teens. Also La Carabasse (Siblu) as there is Luna Park and mini golf in walking distance. Hot in August though.

Lac du Chalain in the Jura also has watersports / go ape etc. Less hot.

When reading the reviews look at the 4 star and 3 star reviews also think about the price point. There are people who moan about everything and expect a 5 star hotel experience on a cheap campsite whereas there’s others that have had very specific issues which wouldn’t apply to you (eg the hotel I stayed in recently had a one star review because a customer was told they couldn’t store a rented mobility scooter in the hallway for safety reasons, they said it was ridiculous, didn’t take up much space (so store it in your room then!) completely forgetting fire regulations. I fine 4 and also 3 star will have eliminated the rare thing went wrong or ridiculous demands people but also those who didn’t think critically and just said 5 star. Few sites I’ve stayed on get close to 5 star, need to be realistic they are cheap and not staffed to particularly high levels, so it’s whether it meets your requirements really.

I’ve stayed in several in the Vendee (shorter drive) as well as in the south plus in Italy which I prefer

We usually book with Yelloh as they can be cheaper.
We enjoyed St Avit de loisirs but the pool was quite cold even in 30 deg heat. The Dordogne is lovely & my teen DD enjoyed it as did my pre teen.
Last year we did Les Pins in Brittany. Not a huge pool & but they enjoyed the area & the food/drinks were reasonably priced.

We’ve also done Les Pin Parasol in the Vendee which is excellent, but the prices for that are beyond what we want to pay, particularly as we need a 3 bed as Autistic DD(17) needs her own space. So we’ve book Les Jard, also in the Vendee for August. The site looks good, near a beach & good pool complex.

@Spiritedlight Have you looked at Huttopia? We have been to the Loire and Il de Re. Weather not guaranteed though of course.

Yelloh Sylvamar had a great teen scene - fly to Biarritz or we did the overnight ferry to Santander then the most stunning coastal / mountain drive back into France.

Day trip to Santander Sebastian is a must too.

Amazing surfing / bodyboarding.
