Recommendations holidays in France

For the past two years we have enjoyed summer holidays in the beautiful city of Delft. It works really well for us as we stay at a campsite with a pool and children's entertainment but we can easily cycle into Delft and hardly have to use the car.

I'm looking recommendations for somewhere similar in France, ideally Brittany but open to suggestions. Ideally a campsite or eurocamp with a safe cycle/walking route into a town.

Thanks!

Are you open to going South or sticking with North?

Have a look at Nantes Camping. That sounds similar to what you describe in the Netherlands.

We enjoyed Ile de Ré. We stayed in Le Bois Plage en Ré but La Couarde en Mer is also meant to be very nice. We went with an Air BnB but there are certainly campsites around. Fabulous beaches and pretty much everyone cycles everywhere. Lots of nice places to explore on the island by cycle or there are buses if you'd rather not drive, and La Rochelle nearby.

We’re looking at the Eurocamp sites in Quimper & Carnac as they’re both close to the town.

What's the place it mentioned?

Ile D’Oleron. Stunning, like Ile de Re but less expensive or stay nearby and visit. Ronce les Bains, Les Mathes have great holiday parks. We had a static in Ronce for years the kids loved it. It’s geared up for bikes. Have a look at Siblu.
