Looking to book a holiday in France for end August. Kids 5&7. But just don’t know where is good to go to. Needs to be plenty to keep them entertained. Not too far from st malo - 3 hours max.

so much out there.

anyone have any tips? So far I’ve seen the accommodation costs are relatively reasonable but not sure about activities?

any help gratefully received

Domaines des ormes is a lovely site, lots to do nearby too. You can book there through eurocamp, yelloh and roan. Plus a few more. We have stayed with eurocamp but had booked with roan before Covid hit. Roan were good to refund us the full amount despite being the terms being less than at the time of cancellation. Not made it back since.

There are plenty of fabulous sites within a 3 hour drive of St Malo. We've been camping in Brittany every summer for the past 10 years, and have never been disappointed. The area near Trinité sur mer and Carnac is beautiful - we've stayed at Camping Kervilor in the past which had an amazing playground, crazy golf, pool complex and kids club. We loved a little campsite called Les Embruns in Le Pouldu - lovely pool and lots for little ones to do - also in a village and 10 mins walk to the wonderful beach. Our new favourite is Yelloh camping la plage in Penmarch, on the south-west tip of Brittany - 2 mins walk to the beach, fabulous pool and entertainment, lots for both younger and older children to do.

Not been yet but Yelloh Village L’Atlantique near Quimper was recommended on here to me. Looks lovely and we are booked for August.
my kids are a bit older. That said we had a great time at Yelloh Villages down south when my kids were similar ages to yours!
