We’re looking for a beach break mid-late April with my kids - 2+5. We know the weather can be varied, but trying to stay in Europe for ease, cost and flight options (not easy to fly everywhere direct from Glasgow/Edinburgh). Any suggestions for family friendly beach hotels at that time? We’re not usually fans of resort holidays, but with two young kids, thought it might be an easy, relaxing break… We’re looking at Crete (for most promising weather?!) and would be interested to hear reviews on Domes of Elounda, Amirandes and Ostia Resort. Alternatively, we could rent an apartment near Javea but I think I’d switch off more in a hotel. Any other recommendations welcome!
