There are so many villa complexes around Orlando I'm really confused! Last visited in 2019 and stayed in a villa in The Shire at West Haven. Beautiful villa but nothing around, just a small communal pool which no-one used, no club restaurant and nowhere to walk to so husband had to drive all the time. This time we'd like a busier complex with lots going on so if we decide not to go out one night we can stay onsite with places to eat etc. Would also love big pools with slides and a lazy river. We'll be doing the Universal parks but also enjoy doing other things in Orlando apart from the parks. Thanks for any help.

Bumping this for you as we would like suggestions for this too. Also - how you getting on with research?

We’ve now booked a villa at Storey Lake resort which seems to tick all the boxes. Also Windsor Island and Solterra looked good. All only seem to have one restaurant/bar onsite though but better than nothing at all, at least there’s an option if you don’t fancy cooking/driving!
