Hi, has anyone been to Majorca in April. Would like peoples opinions of the weather. Also keen to hear about the resorts as well as Palma.
We normally go to the Canaries.
Thanks

Yes it was warm enough to swim - we went to Port Alcudia. The beach and nearby lake were lovely; there were shops, restaurants and a small play area. There would have been better facilities for children in one of the hotel complexes.

Not April but I've been in May the last three years.
It depends what you're after but it will be nowhere near as warm as the Canaries where I have been many times all year round.
"Warm enough to swim" is subjective. Would you swim in the UK in the sea or an unheated pool in summer?
That's the sort of temperature I find in May. Also we had rain and cold wind in 2024 in late May. It suits me because it's not too hot, warm enough for tee shirts in the day but needing a fleece at night.

Even May can be variable, warm some days but rain showers sometimes. April is a bit early for guaranteed good weather

April can be decently warm but we have been then and it was not warm enough for us to swim.
