First foreign holiday with kids: Should I book HD Parque San Cristobal Gran Canaria?

First abroad holiday for our kids (7 and 9). Looking for decent quality all inclusive food, pool, 2 bedrooms suite.
Got a deal for 9 nights for £4K, it seems too good to be true! This is a holiday to relax. Has anyone been to this hotel and have any advice?
Should I just book it?
I’ve not researched other places extensively. Thanks!

We went there the last two years, really loved it.

i wouldn’t say the food is amazing, but it is good quality AI buffet. No hygiene concerns, plenty of choice and fresh food being cooked constantly.

The big attraction for us the first year was the lack of Sunbed wars. No getting up at the crack of dawn to try and reserve beds. There are plenty and we always found 3/4 together whenever we wanted.

i don’t think we’re going to go back for a third year, as I prefer to see new places. We’ve never been to anywhere else twice!

When are you planning on going?

We have been here and booked to go again in May. It’s lovely! Really chilled vibe, so clean, everyone is friendly. Lots of kids activities and a kids club which is in view of the pool and sun loungers. Accommodation is not dated and very well maintained and the grounds are lovely for a walk etc.

they have a kids disco and shows, we really enjoyed the entertainment there. We book them Emblem suites but tend not to use the emblem restaurant and just go to the buffet. We book emblem purely for the private garden and hot tub. Emblem is definitely not needed unless you desperately want a hot tub.

When are you planning on going?

mid- June, hoping for weather hot enough to use the pool a lot but not be uncomfortable the rest of the time
