Has anyone asked Hurtigruten to Norway

I am considering this to get as far north as we can. We know it’s not an all singing all dancing mega ship and this suits us just fine. If you’ve said with them before did you enjoy it? Do you have any tips?

Loved it! Did the hurtigruten coastal express. Food was great, no 'entertainment' apart from talks/ presentations focusing on the trip. Trips ashore were well organised if thats something you like or to fo your own thing. As someone who doesn't do forced social it suited me to the tee..
It's not luxury, as its a working ferry too. Went up as far as Kirkenes then flew back to Oslo to get flight back to England.

Oh..the trip to husky sledging was brilliant fun..but expensive..also alcohol is very expensive. I had one drink all week as a last night treat.

Thank you. I’d like to go to Svalbard but this is quite long cruise at 2 weeks or so though and I don’t think we have that amount of time away from the kids at the moment. Svalbard might have to wait a couple of years. There is an 8 day cruise that I am also looking at which is more manageable. We both really like that the ships aren’t mega ships with casinos and big entertainment shows at night. We are definitely there for the scenery.

apologies for the typo in my heading.
