Paris question!!!

We have 2 nights in Paris arriving on Eurostar. We want to stay close to Gare de Lyon as we are getting a train from there on 3rd day.
I've found a nice hotel close by the station but now I'm wondering whether we should be staying in La Marais instead and get a taxi to the station that morning.
We are planning to mooch a lot in La Marais.

The advantage of the hotel near GdL is that you are nearby on your day of departure.

However, you want to be in Le Marais for 2 days, so it makes sense to stay there and leave enough time to get to GdL.

Yes its only a short taxi ride and we dont have an early train. Im looking now at Solly Hotel
