Tiblisi and surrounding areas

Looking to go at the end of Feb so it will be chilly. Any recommendations for good hotels and things to do would be appreciated!

We stayed at the Blue Fox Inn, it was lovely in autumn.

I stayed in the Tbilisi Marriott Hotel on Rustaveli Avenue. It was very grand and luxurious with old-fashioned opulence, but probably very expensive (I was with my Mum and she was paying). It had a fabulous breakfast and it was very centrally located.

We did a walking tour of the old part where Sioni cathedral and the bath houses are and I really enjoyed that. There were some lovely little hotels and guesthouses on the pedestrianised streets there that I think would have been more my style than the Marriott, but just because they looked cute on the outside doesn't necessarily mean that they were nice to stay in.

We are looking at the Stamba Hotel but not sure about location
