Where to go in early March ?

Wanting to go on holiday in first half of March and looking for recommendations for somewhere other than the Canaries ?
would like decent weather but happy for it not to be too hot and not too long a flight !
Hit me with your suggestions!

What's wrong with the canaries? You don't want a long flight so Caribbean is out, not many places in Europe are warm/beach weather in March. North Africa? Although I wouldn't recommend Egypt. Cape Verde? (Haven't been, and haven't heard good things about it either).

Just been to most of them a few times and fancied somewhere different x was thinking maybe Malta or Lara Beach in Turkey or if anyone holidays or has holidayed at this time of year has any other recommendations

Malta is lovely but not great food. Marrakesh? Beautiful, all sorts of accommodation, cheap and great food.

Gambia or Senegal - good weather and only a 6 hour flight

We went to Mallorca one March, it was pleasantly warm although the spainards were in puffer jackets, 😀but we had short sleeves.

Sightseeing, or beach? Or both?

Apart from the canaries you’re not going to get warm enough weather in the rest of Europe unless you really touch lucky.

Madeira? Should be pleasant that time of the year, not quite as warm as the Canaries.

Cyprus or Turkey will be warming up but not hot.

Morocco could be a good option

Morocco would be warm and the flights aren't that far. It's a lovely country to explore.

Egypt is lovely for winter sun. We stayed in Makadi Bay last year and were really impressed. Pool side waiters delivering drinks, great food, big mix of nationalities too.
