4yo and 18month old.
Looking for suggestions for locations somewhere for a mini break 2-3 nights in the UK, within 2ish hours drive of north London. Something that still works even if the weather is truly crap. Essentially just want a break from routine. We're pretty easy going: enjoy wintery beaches, museums, anything unexpected.
Could be one place, or an area that allows for a day here and a day there. (Will probably aim to book a cheap and cheerful hotel with a pool somewhere - have car so don't need to stay immediately local).
