Modern hotel with water slides in Europe

We normally go to Turkey as DS8 loves the big water slides, but we want to go somewhere in Europe instead this year. Can anyone recommend an all inclusive hotel with great water slides but still an amazing hotel? Thanks!!

There is Lalandia in Billund Denmark (close to the original Lego land)

I know Holland has several but unsure of names.

Aquashow hotel and waterpark in Portugal.

Nice and easy to use.

@somanychristmaslights is there anywhere you'd recommend in turkey please? Ideally not a mammoth transfer from the airport? Also looking for a good hotel with slides but so many seem rubbish or a poor location when checking reviews.

Stella Palace in Crete is a fantastic hotel with an exceptional water park. We took our DS there last year and he loved it. It was that good we booked again for this year which is something we’ve never done before as we usually like to vary where we go.

If your aim is a decent hotel with large pools and a top end water park then I doubt you’ll find much better.

Just had a look for this. Looks really nice. Couldn't get it to come up on easy jet or Jet 2 past mid May. But then found it on Tui. £9k for a week! That is just crazy lol!

It’s really popular so you have to book very early. A lot of people are repeat visitors and book up for the next year while they’re there.

We paid around 3k for the 3 of us for a week in early July 2025 before the schools broke up. This year it is just over 4k as we fly out on the Saturday after they break up as DS is now in Reception. Both booked with Jet2 about 12 months in advance.

Maybe something to consider for summer 2027.

Yeah 4k or so was more what I would expect. I’ll check again at some point later as they must have rooms available with it being on Tui. I might see what they have direct. I’d love to go at Easter but I’m not sure the weather would be reliable enough

We loved Port Aventura in Salou, Spain. It has a waterpark and theme park and a few different themed hotels each with pools as well.
