Just that really. We need a villa somewhere that there are things for them to do alone and us all together (with coffee shops and restaurants and things to look around for me and DH).

We haven't ever really done package holidays so I am after ideas please. Probably Europe and it will be at the beginning of July, so hopefully before prices rise massively.

Barcelona - beach & city! Loads to see & do (or just relax on the beach) & great restaurants, bars & shops! Fantastic city.

ETA for an explanation of why Barcelona

Malaga is perfect. Great weather, buzzing cafes, restaurants, cafes, shops. History - Roman ruins plus museums and galleries. Beach/sea. DD2 studied there for a year, so we went frequently.

Lots of accommodation - we stayed in 5 star and 3 star hotels, all lovely, DD1 stayed in a fab air bnb.

Completely safe and good value too.

Would thoroughly recommend.

Sorry, don’t know about villas specifically though - as it’s a city I guess they may not have villas, but you can probably stay a bit further out. Buses and metro are good.

We’ve stayed in the Denia/ Javea area in Spain (fly to Alicante which is easy and cheap) a few times and always really enjoyed it. Plenty of villas in the hills but probably stuff available by the sea too. Javea has a lovely old town as well as the newer parts!

OK if you want to meet loads of other Brits and Germans while you are on holiday. A more Spanish city or area would get my vote.

Hmmm, I like Belem! I just think it has a bit of everything for all ages.
