Cruise destination insurance question

I’ve got cruise insurance but it asked me to put the destinations in the application, and we’ve already had one destination change since booking. If we were to divert to another country while sailing, would my insurance cover it? Presumably it covers anything beyond my control?

I would ring the insurance company and ask them this question.

This. A friend of mine is 10s of 1000s of pounds out of pocket because his wife got sick on a cruise. They weren’t covered.
