Renting A villa for couples in Greece Advice

Thinking of renting a villa in Greece May/June for me and husband.

Really fancy the thought of the privacy with a villa as me and my husband went on our first adult kid free holiday last year and it was absolute bliss having the whole week to do what we wanted to do and not think about anyone else. Just think what an added bonus it would be to have our own complete space and not have set times to have to get up to go and have breakfast etc at certain times and to not have to share the pool.
I understand it will cost a lot more but I’m sure it will be worth it.
Wondering if it is best to book it as a package holiday or book villa and flights seperate.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I’ve always done villa and flights separately, as does my family. Obviously if it’s a better option financially for you to book as a package then go that route.
I would highly recommend a private villa though, it’s so worth the extra money.
Our last holiday was a private villa in Lanzarote, being able to swim at midnight under the stars with DP was a magical moment, no one else’s screaming kids around, we could put music on and dance late into the evening, it was worth every penny!

We do this a lot! It’s bloody lovely, peace and quiet, loads of space, free to do whatever you want, whenever you want. We always book flights and villa separately because it works out far cheaper. Booking.com is my go too.

You guys have already sold it to me. The thought of being able to have a swim late at night is something you can’t do on a complex. In fact I hadn't even thought of that sounds amazing.
I have looked at Jet 2 Villa holidays but that are rather pricey and they don’t state how far from the airport you are to look at the price of a taxi.

We always book separately too (obviously checking average flight prices/frequency beforehand).

Sounds like bliss! We've rented lovely villas through AirBNB in the past (though with kids). Did flights, car hire separately and it worked out much cheaper than a standard rental or package.
I'm researching a Greek island-hopping trip for this summer and there's some amazing places on AirBnB (always scour the reviews, though).

Agni travel are an independent villa company in the Greek Islands with some interesting properties on little beaches and villages.
