Christmas away …

We are at that age now where he’s less bothered it’s Christmas as such (gifts always accepted 😂) and we’ve done very little this break other than sleep (hurrah) and he has had to do a lot of Year10 GCSE revision for Jan mocks. That has been tough on him, it’s been a lot so we haven’t felt able to go out and about and do much as the school have set a big timetable. I’m wondering that next year we could go away and he at least does his revision in the warmth and we get some sunshine … I’m wondering Mexico??

I took my son to Agadir Morocco one Xmas, it was lovely, warm but not overly hot. Xmas day on the beach and we went all inclusive so just lots of eating and drinking. It wasn’t particularly expensive either and we met lots of other Brits at the hotel!
Perhaps not what you’re looking for but it was a lovely relaxing holiday and I appreciated the break from the normal Xmas routine. Would love to be away for Xmas again.

Do check mock schedule for Y11. Also, what are his plans post GCSE? DD moved to 6th form and December meant mocks, revisions and more mocks.

We did a short trip over 4-5 days but definitely not a two week holiday.
