Great base for a villa holiday with teens?

Hi, I would be really grateful for suggestions of where to base ourselves in the summer with 18 year old teens. I'm thinking of a villa with a pool so the teens can entertain themselves and to allow them to invite a friend each. We'd like nearby beaches and nightlife but not somewhere too party town so that the adults can also enjoy some R&R. I thought skiathos but struggling to find a villa. Any ideas of villas would also be welcomed. We don't want to hire a car so walking distance to a local town would be perfect with good bus links for exploring. Many thanks

We were in Protaras in Cyprus this year. First time being in Cyprus and we all really loved it. Felt so safe, beautiful beaches, the kids can pop into Ayia Napia for a more party place or stay in Protaras. The Cypriots are so lovely in comparison to alot of the Spanish wev encountered over the years, who can sometimes be quite rude. Never had one bad meal. Lots of buses for getting around and taxis weren't badly priced. Lots of beach sports.

Came on to suggest Cyprus too. SIL partly grew up there and took our daughter and their 5 year old last year. Our daughter said it’s not the most beautiful place, little too arid for her tastes in terms of scenery, but she said it was perfect for family holidays, so much to do and felt very safe.

Pefkos on Rhodes is good for teens, they can also jump on the bus and head to the water park.
