Need help finding the perfect holiday please!
We have 6 month old twins (7 months in Jan) and DH has to 2 weeks of annual leave at the end of Jan.
We want to go away somewhere as stress-free as possible where we can chill as much as is possible with two 7-months old babies as we’re both feeling exhausted and burnt out.
We took them on holiday for a week previously and even getting out of the hotel room was such an ordeal it was barley worth it and eating in restaurants was just not enjoyable as they both needed to be held to keep them happy.
We’ve realised what we need to keep it stress free is a villa or a hotel room with a terrace / direct pool access so we can stay based around the room (although definitely a bonus to be able to go for a stroll to a local town/village). We also want a break from cooking which has become just another thing to fit in so a villa with a chef or hotel with room service would be ideal! If it was summer we’d look at places like Italy or Portugal but since we’re going in January we have no idea where we might find something like this.
Ideally we’d like to go somewhere warm enough to use an outside pool, chill on the terrace etc (circa 25 degrees) but would be open to somewhere cooler if it was a villa with an indoor pool. However we dont want a very long flight as again just more stress with the babies! Around 7 hours would be ok if with a good airline!
Budget is around £5k per person (but if cheaper even better!). We briefly looked at Dubai due to being the right temperature, comfortable airline with bassinets, flight time not too long, good standard of hotel for spending a lot of time around the room - but anything we could see meeting the above criteria seemed to be way out of budget.
Please help us find what we’re looking for!
