Happy boxing day all!

My 4 Yr old is absolutely desperate to see snow - we never get any that settles where we are in the UK.

I was thinking we could head somewhere in Europe in the Feb half term but as we won't be skiing (DH not up for it) I'd like to go somewhere that isn't just completely geared up for skiing. Is this even possible at any of the snowy resorts in the school holidays?

It probably won't be the full week due to my work patterns but maybe 3-4 days. So easily accessible from UK airports is a must.

I think she would absolutely love toboggoning, making a snow man, snowball fights that kind of thing.

Any ideas wise mumsnetters?

@Awbiscuits I would recommend Stockholm OP - can’t 100% guarantee snow but I’ve been in late Feb several times and it’s been snowy every time - if you want somewhere ‘alpine’ I would suggest Seefeld or chamonix - both very pretty proper towns -seefeld had a fantastic public pool last time we went - it’s also 20 minutes to Innsbruck -

Sierra Nevada nr Granada in Southern Spain? Fly to Malaga, hire a car. You can drive up to the mountains or get a bus from Granada. Great weather in Feb
Beach and Ski holiday in one!
