Ryanair Flight release dates

Does anyone know if flight dates for all destinations are released at the same time? We were thinking of going to Seville next November and at the moment, flights are only showing until October, yet they are showing for Malaga (for example) going into 2027. I was wondering if this means they will be ceasing flights there from my local airport, or if it’s likely more flights will be added at a later date? Anyone any experience here?

I wouldn’t bother until a lot closer to the time. I have a flight home booked with them for next September. It was originally at 10am, getting me back home by midday. The flight has now been pushed back to 1pm, meaning I don’t get home until 3. If they do it again (which apparently they can, with no notice!), I’ll have to cancel and lose my money. Book with BA or even easyJet.

I probably wasn’t clear. It’s the only airline that flies to Seville from my local airport (Birmingham). I don’t have a problem with them as an airline.

I’d go further afield rather than book with them. Even if they released them tomorrow they could change the details without any warning.

In answer to your question they don't have a big release date for the entirety of winter, they tend to release them as and when routes get finalised. Are they running flights in December 2025 or January 2026 to Seville from your airport? Late October, around 1/2 term, is when they switch from summer to winter schedule. So if no flights now or in Jan, it's reasonably likely that Seville is a summer only destination. Looking at the Wikipedia page for Seville airport it looks like all the UK-Seville routes operate year round, so probably just a case of waiting for it to be added. I'm quite a late flight booker and so typically never get messed around with Ryanair moving flight times. Agree though the one time I booked several months in advance, so for last May I booked at Christmas, they did move our flight 2 hours earlier.

Interestingly I was looking for Manchester to Seville this time last year, for this December. There were none but were flights to Malaga. I think it was late spring when I looked and suddenly Seville was there!

we went a few weeks ago - it was such a lovely time of year to go.

Just be aware Ryanair have been involved in a major disagreement this year with the Spanish Government and the airport operators over charges and have reduced capacity, or threatened to do so, on a few routes..so there might be some brinksmanship going on about which routes will continue to operate into Winter 26/27....fingers crossed Seville isn't touched.

BTW the change from summer to winter timings and schedules normally happens overnight the Sat/Sun the clocks change, so I'd agree that would be late Oct.

Thank you so much - that’s exactly what I was hoping. Neither Birmingham nor Manchester have flights showing past October at the moment, but as you say, Malaga is abailable into the Spring. I’ll hold on a bit then in the hope that we can book later in the Spring.

@TeamGeriatric
Thank you - yes they are running year round this current winter, which is why I was wondering. As you say, there are a few destinations where flights run only at certain times of the year - often not the times I want to travel there ! More confusingly though, Ryanair has flights published next November and December from Stansted, but not Birmingham or Manchester.

@notimagain
Fingers crossed then, but I see that maybe a reason for them to be considering dropping the Seville-Birmingham route .
