Anyone breastfed in public in Majorca?

I'm wondering if I'll be able to breastfeed my 7mo in cafes and restaurants. Anyone got any experience of this? We'll be in a fairly touristy area.

Gracias!

Of course you will! And if anyone gives you grief for it, just tell them to feck off.
My last baby was about 5 months old when we went there so I was feeding a lot when we were out. TBH I doubt that anyone ever noticed. Just do the pulling up of the top thing rather than wearing something that you have to unbutton if you're feeling self-conscious.
I always rather hoped someone would moan at me for breastfeeding in public, but sadly they never gave me the opportunity to let rip

Thanks vbacqueen1! I wouldn't think twice about it in the UK, but wondered about it being a Catholic country etc.

BTW, I'm a VBAC-er too

Yes, we went to Alacudia when Tink was 4 months old. I emailed before I went and was told Spain are pro-breastfeeding. Went to Menorca when she was 15 months (coincidence, as my parents are in a holiday club and we got late deals, we're not doing a tour of the Balearics honest!) and she was starting to increase her feeds again which meant a lot of NIP.

I saw a woman feeding a 3 year old in a restaurant in a very smart marina. No one batted an eyelid at me feeding my then 8 month old either.

I bf dd in public in Menorca when she was around 4-5 months. It was fine really apart from waiters trying to be too helpful and putting covers over my food when I was feeding her to keep it hot for me; now I could eat one-handed perfectly well but I couldn't get a hot plate out from under another hot plate one-handed at all .

It will be fine .
