The Snowman at Birmingham Rep

Me and my mom took dd1 and 2 to see this today and it was fantastic.

Dd2 was absolutly gob smacked when the snowman and the boy started to fly, and loved all the dancing, especially the fruit doing the limbo

At the end it snowed on part of the audience our part , and the look on the girls faces nearly made me cry.

It's on until the 30th and i think the tickets were about 15 quid each and the seats were excellant.

i took ds to see this in london a couple of weeks ago & he absolutely loved it. was dancing the whole way through. that evening he said "mummy, i really really enjoyed going to the theatre to see the snowman." he says very serious things for a boy not yet 3. so i agree with nutty, highly reccommended.

Ahh bless your little boy

I heard Dd1 whisper to Dd2 "it's just beautiful isn't it ?"

Awww, nutty and hc, thanks for sharing those. I do miss having little ones (sometimes!)

We saw it at the Rep too today, Nutty, and it was just wonderful. My 3.5yo was transfixed and didn't want it to end - she loved the flying and the dancing too. If you get the chance to see it, do go - there are still tickets left at the Rep for other performances and it's well worth it.

Ahhh forgot you were going Wigwam, would have looked out for you.

Did you get the clothes by the way ???

Yep - got them a couple of days ago, thanks - dd loves them! I'd forgotten you said you were going - wasn't it fab!

nutcracker · 23/01/2005 21:50

I loved it, would go again.

Glad your dd liked the clothes, have just asked you the same question on the times table thread so ignore it
