Is it possible to take ds's scooter on the plane?

He's currently obsessed with it and we are going to a very un-child-friendly place. I think it would give us a peaceful week.

Could I put it in the hold? Would I need to wrap it up? Would it be better taken to bits and squashed in a suitcase? Could I take it as hand luggage?! Or am I just bonkers for even thinking of it?

Am flying Easyjet btw.

You can get stuff shrink wrapped at the airport - do that and put it in the hold - have done that with my carseat and pushchair.
