We went to Woolley Grange last summer and really loved it. I always look at tripadvisor.com to check out any hotels people reccomend. Some people said it was shabby but I thought that it was very homely. They have a website because it is part of the luxury family hotels group.
You can book massages in your room, and there is a big toybarn where you can have your children looked after for a couple of hours.
Worth a look.

The Place at Camber Sands should fit the bill. Haven't been myself, but I'm told it's lovely
