Is there anyone in Lanzarote now, I can really do with some advice on what to pack for 1 & 4 years old DC and myself and DH. It's our first time visiting there.
How's the weather there and are you able to go in swimming pool which are outdoor and not heated. We are staying at Playa blanca. Appreciate any advice, thanks.

Been to Playa Blanca lots in winter.
Expect weather like you might get in May here. Warm during the day but not hot, windy all the time. Cool at night. So t shirt weather by day and fleece / trousers by night.
An unheated pool will be pretty cold. Some hardy souls will go in, I've swum in the sea in January but don't expect DC to spend much time in the water. Wetsuits might help.

My husband came back yesterday and he said it’s pretty cloudy and windy but when the sun comes out it’s roasting. He also said it wasn’t warm enough to swim and he’s a pretty hardened surfer so the water must have been cold!

I came back from Playa Blanca on Sunday, if sunny it’s fabulous, if cloudy and windy it can be cool. I wore 3/4 length trousers, blouse, cardigan and denim jacket out at night but just T-shirt and shorts in the day. You’d need a heated pool really but the sea was pleasant, 22°. My 79 year old mum got in up to her waist and I swam the two days we went to the beach. It was busy on Saturday afternoon. Have a great time.

Hi op - came back from Playa Blanca 2 weeks ago. It was a mix of hot sunshine and some days very windy and a bit overcast! So definitely take lots of beachwear but also a few pairs of light trousers and a cardigan or hoody for the breezier days. If you are sat somewhere sheltered, (we were on our balcony) it was scorching! Have a great time 😊
