Italy Kid Friendly Hotel close to culture

Hi any help appreciated.

Looking to take my 3 & 6 yo boys to Italy over Easter holidays for approx 4 nights.

Am a lone parent so really would like a hotel that has plenty to do, ideally splash pools. Animals would be a huge bonus.

Would also like to be in easy reach of places to experience a bit of Italy with them.

Anyone had this type of holiday in Italy?

Yes, we’ve stayed in child-friendly hotels with a kids/splash pool on Lake Garda, in Sardinia, and on the Venetian Riviera. I don’t think any of them were heated though, which you’d definitely need in April.
